Kang Jung vomited out his milk on early Sunday morning. Mommy was suppose to bring Kang Jung to meet her friends for lunch and meet another group of friends for dinner. Well, both appointments were cancel.
By afternoon, Kang Jung has already vomited 4 times. We decided to bring him to see a doctor but his PD and our GP were both closed. We have no choice but to bring him to KK hospital.
Since Kang Jung vomited everytime he drink his milk, we do not let him drink anymore. It was a long wait at KK and by the time the doctor check on him, he was already very very cranky.
The doctor said that Kang Jung was a bit dehydrated. He said it could be dangerous and they will have to pop a pill into his butt, wait, let him drink some glucose water, wait, let him drink somemore again, and this has to be continue until they confirm that Kang Jung will not vomit anything out. If he vomited, then he will have to be admitted to the wards. We will have to wait at the hospital. Another alternative was to admit him straight away, if the doctor check that he is all right, we might be able to go home at 6pm. We knew that it was impossible to feed Kang Jung with glucose water because he do not like it at all. Thinking that there will be nurses to help us, we choose to let Kang Jung admit, hoping that we can go home at 6pm.
At the admission counter, Kang Jung started crying. He was crying so loud that Mommy had to bring him outside. No matter how Mommy pacify him, Kang Jung will not stop crying.
We checked to a B2 ward upstair. There were 6 childen beds in each room and it was non air-con. Mommy was thinking that since we will be heading home soon, never about what kind of room they offer us. Kang Jung was still crying and screaming when we reach the wards. Mommy could hardly hold him anymore. Mommy decided to breastfeed Kang Jung and was praying hard that Kang Jung will not vomit out his milk again. Kang Jung stopped crying immediately.
While Mommy was still breastfeeding Kang Jung, the doctor checked on him. The doctors at the ward decided not to give Kang Jung any medicine and Mommy was advised to gave Kang Jung breastmilk. Mommy was to time how long Kang Jung has drink, what time, what other food or water we gave him and how much.
Daddy told the nurse that the doctor at the A&E said that we could go home if Kang Jung was ok. The nurse told Daddy that according to her experience in the hospital, nobody go home that fast. We will have to wait for the doctor to give permission first.
Well, Kang Jung did not vomit at all and he did not take any medicine for his vomiting and diarrhoea. He got a bit of fever at night and the nurse gave him 4ml of paracetamol. That's all. However, Kang Jung drunk a lot of breastmilk. He wanted to be latched on for almost every half an hour. Mommy was thinking maybe Kang Jung do not like the place at the ward and wanted to find security and comfort from Mommy.
Kang Jung look and act normal although Mommy can tell that he wanted to go home. He fuss and refuse to sleep or sit on the ward bed. Mommy has to carried him to sleep for the whole night.
When the doctor came and checked Kang Jung in the morning, the doctor said that breastmilk was the best medicine for Kang Jung and he do not need anything else. Daddy then asked when can we go home. The doctor sugguested that we stay until 5pm so that they can continue to monitor Kang Jung. However, all of us wanted to go home badly. Daddy and Mommy need sleep badly and we were running out of ideas how to keep Kang Jung occupy. The doctor finally decided to let us go at 1pm. All of us were so happy.

Sesame St Live - Elmo's Colouring Book

Mommy, Kang Jung, Ah Yi, Yi Zhang and Luck Heng went to watch Elmo's show today. Mommy was prepared to waste a ticket if Kang Jung cried or fuss halfway through the show. Kang Jung has been a very good boy. He sit on Mommy big bag, hold Mommy's hands and watch the whole 70 minutes of show. He did not fuss during the 15 minute break too.
After the show, we went to Explorer Kids. Kang Jung have fun there and was more interested in their balls and slide than the last time we went there.

Shoes Again

That day, forgot which one, Daddy was late. Mommy and Kang Jung were waiting for Daddy to come to Popo's place to pick us up to go home. It was 8pm, Mommy was sitting at the sofa watching TV and Kang Jung was playing with his toys.
Suddenly, Kang Jung start looking for his shoes under the sofa. He picked up his shoes and pass it to Mommy. He wanted Mommy to help him to put on his shoes. He wanted to go home.
Mommy told Kang Jung that Daddy was not here yet and we got to wait for Daddy to come first. Mommy then put Kang Jung's shoes back, under the sofa.
Kang Jung went to pick up his shoes and gave them to Mommy again. Mommy repeated what she had said to Kang Jung. This time, Kang Jung start to throw his tantrums.

Mommy usually will took Kang Jung downstair to buy lunch after Kang Jung had his bath. Daddy was still at home today after Kang Jung had his bath, so Mommy told Daddy to look after Kang Jung while Mommy go down to buy lunch by herself.
When Mommy came back, Mommy saw Kang Jung at the main door taking his shoes, asking Daddy to put on his shoe for him. Kang Jung wanted to go out with Mommy. When Daddy told him that he was not going anywhere, Kang Jung put his shoes back on the shoes rack. After thinking for a while, Kang Jung took his shoes to Daddy again.

Everybody was sick

Yes, everybody in the house was sick. Mommy suspected it is the same virus that cause Mommy, Daddy and Kang Jung to vomit and have diarrhoea.
Kang Jung was the only person that was still active. Mommy and Daddy felt like dying and we have to take care of Kang Jung while we fight with the virus. It was really very tired.

Sick Again

Mommy got a diarrhoea on Sunday but she recovered really fast. After 1 dose of medicine, Mommy recovered from her diarrhoea and have not poo since then.
Kang Jung had his diarrhoea in the middle of the night on Tuesday. He has vomitted too. Mommy and Daddy brought Kang Jung to see the PD and the PD said that Kang Jung got his virus from Mommy.
Mommy thought that Kang Jung will recover fast too because he seem active and normal. However, Kang Jung still vomit and poo really wet today. Hopefully he will recover by tomorrow.

Carry Bag Bag

Kang Jung has been watching Mommy. Today, he picked up Mommy's bag and tried to put his arm through the handles. After that, he carried the bag and walked around. Nobody teach him that!
The best thing about being a stay at home mom is that you got to see all these tiny development first.

Pasir Park

The last time we went to Pasir Park was in December. We went there again today and realise that they have added lots of playgrounds and they are still adding more. The place were full of children running around and having a good time. Mommy and Daddy did not have much time to explore the whole place. We walked around, took some pictures and promised Kang Jung that we will bring him there again another day.
