Kang Jung was sick again

On Tuesday at 10pm, Kang Jung developed a fever. Mommy gave him the pink fever medicine at 11pm. Kang Jung's fever did not go down at all. In fact, his fever went up to 39 degree in the middle of the night. Mommy was so frighten that she woke Daddy up. Daddy drive us to Mount A at 3am. The GP checked and told us that he could not find anything wrong with Kang Jung. Daddy asked the doctor is there a possibility that it was dengue fever because we went to Botanic Garden the day before. The doctor said that if the fever do not goes off in 2 days, bring Kang Jung back for a blood test.
Kang Jung's fever did not goes off the next day. It was always between 37 to 38 degree even through Mommy feed Kang Jung the pink medicine every 4 hour. Daddy decided to bring Kang Jung to KK hospital since his PD clinic was not open in the evening.
The PD checked Kang Jung and told Mommy that he has a slight stomach flu. His stomach was feeling uncomfortable and he was beginning to have a diarrhea. The PD told Mommy that it is important not to let Kang Jung get dehydrated. She also told us that the fever will last for 3 to 5 days and he might start to vomit if his stomach get too uncomfortable. The PD then handed us some information leaflets on diarrhoea, fever & vomitting and tell us to read them. Kang Jung fever was gone now but he was still having his diarrhoea. Mommy has been changing his diapers diligently and applying the rashes cream on his red red butt. Whenever Mommy heard a "poooo" sound, Mommy will check his butt immediately so that Kang Jung butt will not be marinated by his own poo.

Self Feed

Mommy let Kang Jung self feed after reading that some April mummies did that. It was horrible and out of control. However, Kang Jung had a fun time playing with his porridge. Mommy got to prepare his bathe water and strip him naked while he was in his high chair. Poor Daddy got to clean up his mess. Mommy think that she is not going to let Kang Jung self feed for a long time.

Cars

Kang Jung loves to play with big toys cars in the shopping mall. We cannot let Kang Jung know that if you put a coin in, they will start to move and sing.
Kang Jung eyes were very sharp and he could spot these cars in the shopping mall when you walk past them. He will point at the cars, lean his body towards the cars, letting you know that he want to play in the car. We have let Kang Jung played and he really enjoy them. However, when we decided to go somewhere else, he will fuss and cried if we carried him away from the car.

Vaccination

Today Kang Jung had his chicken pox and pneumococcal vaccination. The PD gave Kang Jung the chicken pox shot and he did not cry. When the PD gave him the pneumococcal vaccination, Kang Jung cried until Mommy carried him. The PD said that he may remember the shot when he receive the 2nd dose of pneumococcal next month.
The PD said that Kang Jung may start eat table food except for seafood and peanuts.
Kang Jung is a very rich guy. He own 4 cars at 1 year old. 2 can be converted to a walker and 1 can be converted to a scooter.

Throwing Things

Kang Jung has picked up a bad habit of throwing his toys or anything that he do not want. Mommy has been very angry with him until Mommy found this article. http://www.babycenter.com/expert/toddler/toddlerbehavior/14248.html Looks like Mommy got to let Kang Jung know what can be throw and what cannot be throw. It is easier said than done. *sign*
Mommy was wondering when Kang Jung will throw away this bad habit.

At Popo Place

Kang Jung knows where Popo keep his toy box. Everytime after his lunch, Kang Jung will went into Mommy's brother bedroom and tried to pull the box of toys.
One of Kang Jung favourite toy at Popo place was an old red double decker bus. Kang Jung will hold the bus when he crawl around, walk around and play with other toys.

Kang Jung & The Irobot

Kang Jung love Mommy's irobot. He will chase it and scream after it. While Mommy was trying to take some pictures of Kang Jung chasing the irobot, Kang Jung lifted up the machine and the irobot began to scream. Mommy quickly put the irobot down and separate Kang Jung and the irobot. The irobot continue to run and Kang Jung start chasing after it again.
Kang Jung happen to caught the irobot and pressed the off button. When Mommy went over to press the start button, Kang Jung caught hold of the machine. The irobot continue to run off this time without it dustbin. Mommy got to quickly stop the whole chasing game.
Mommys' cats kept watching at us while all these were happening. Mommy was wondering what were they thinking about.

Kang Jung's Birthday

Today is Kang Jung's birthday. Happy Birthday!
We have celebrate his birthday yesterday which was Good Friday at Ah Ma's place.
Ah Ma has put several object on the table for Kang Jung to choose. It include a pen, calculator, a book, toys & food. Kang Jung select the calculator. When we took the calculator away, he select the pen. Ah Ma said that he is going to be a boss when he grow up.
Kang Jung's Xiao Shu and his wife brought him a 4kg Elmo cake. Kang Jung and Luck Heng love the cake very much. Kang Jung was not used to having some many people sing birthday songs and clapping for him. He cried after he has cut his cake because he was frightened. After Mommy nursed him, he was happy again. He love the cake very much and he has eaten quite a bit of it.
Kang Jung was very tired in the evening. He want to sleep, needs his sleep but was unable to sleep because of all the distraction and noise. He was very very cranky. Mommy and Daddy actually brought him home before all our guest went back. He fell asleep in the car and when we reach home, we just put Kang Jung on the bed and he continue his sleep.
