Toys in a box

When Kang Jung is bore of his toys, Mommy will have to find ways to entertain him. One of the way is to bring out new toys that Mommy has been keeping them. Another way is to bring out old toys that Kang Jung have not seen for at least a month.
Mommy found out recently that new toys that are still in the box works with Kang Jung too. The toy show in the picture is still not suitable for Kang Jung to play with, so Mommy got no intention of opening it until Kang Jung can at least stand up and walk.
Mommy discovered that Kang Jung love to see his own pictures on Mommy laptop too. Mommy will play his photos on a slideshow and Kang Jung will be holding on to Mommy watching his own photos. Mommy will then play his video for him to watch too. Sometime, Kang Jung will laugh at himself.

4th Tooth

Although the 4th tooth was visible when Kang Jung's 3th tooth was coming out, Mommy can feel the 4th tooth only today. Kang Jung has 4 teeth officially today. Yippee.
By the way, Kang Jung was making a funny sound with his teeth. Mommy tried to make that sound but was unsuccessful. It sound like what Daddy will do when he fell asleep.

Teething Again

Last night was a terrible night for both Kang Jung and Mommy. Kang Jung woke up at 11pm wanting his milk. Mommy let him latch on but Kang Jung refuse to be latch on. Mommy thought Kang Jung wants to play, so Mommy place Kang Jung in a sitting position facing him with all his toys. Kang Jung began to cry.
Kang Jung was climbing onto Mommy trying to bite Mommy. It was very clear that Kang Jung want his milk and he was very sleepy. Mommy tried to let Kang Jung latch on and again, he refuse to latch on. Mommy knows that something was wrong.
Mommy took out his pacifier hoping that Kang Jung will use this instead. Kang Jung was very interested in his pacifier because it was a new "toy" for him. Mommy put it into Kang Jung mouth and Kang Jung thought it was a teething toy. He bite and bite and bite the pacifier. Mommy knew that Kang Jung was feeling uncomfortable with his gums.
Mommy then pour a bottle of water for Kang Jung to suck. Kang Jung thought it was a new toy again. He bite and bite on the teats then he decided he wants his milk again. He began to cry again.
Mommy got no choice but to switch on his favourite Elmo VCD. Kang Jung spend a good 45 minutes watching it. Meanwhile, Mommy quickly log on to the internet and check what she can do. After reading this article, http://www.kellymom.com/babyconcerns/teething.html , it was quite clear that Kang Jung was feeling very uncomfortable while sucking. Mommy quickly gathered some of Kang Jung's teething toys and put them into the fridge. After Kang Jung finish his VCD, Mommy let Kang Jung have one of his teething toy, it was not cold enough but Kang Jung seem to enjoy biting it.
Soon, Kang Jung wants his milk again. Mommy let Kang Jung latch on but he refuse to latch on again. So Mommy let Kang Jung watch Elmo VCD again.
After Kang Jung finish his VCD for the second time, Mommy let Kang Jung bite his teething toy again. This time it was very cold but Kang Jung was crying because he was hungry, tired, sleepy and feeling really uncomfortable. The teething toy works and Kang Jung latch on and fell asleep almost immediately. It was 3am and Mommy was very very tired too.
At 6am, Kang Jung woke up again demanding for his milk. He refuse to latch on again. Mommy ran to the fridge, took another teething toy and let Kang Jung bite. Kang Jung bite for a second, cry for another second, latch on and fall asleep again. That was the last time Kang Jung refuse to latch on.

Hate Playpen

Kang Jung hate his playpen very much. However when Mommy put Kang Jung into his playpen and tell him that Mommy got to prepare for his bath/wash up/pour bath water away/use the toilet, Kang Jung will stand in his playpen, waiting Mommy to finish her task patiently. However, Mommy cannot take her own sweet time.
Mommy could leave the room leaving Kang Jung in his playpen provided that Mommy told Kang Jung that she is leaving the room and will be back very soon. If Mommy sneaked out of the room without telling Kang Jung, he will start to cry if Mommy suddenly goes out of sight.
However, Mommy will also make use of the playpen if Kang Jung refuse to sleep at night. Mommy will place Kang Jung standing in his playpen and ignore him for a while. Kang Jung will start to cry for Mommy. After crying for 5 minutes, Mommy will carry him and nursed him to sleep. If Kang Jung fail to sleep again, Mommy will place Kang Jung in his playpen again.
So the playpen did not turn out to be a white elephant afterall.

Something about Kang Jung

Kang Jung has been pulling himself to standing position. He will do it whenever there is a wall, a ledge, in his playpen and best of all, use Mommy as a standing aid. Of course while doing all these, he has knock his head several time a day. Looking after Kang Jung now has become a very tiring job.
Mommy cannot do anything while Kang Jung sleep too. Kang Jung will flip and row in his sleep and suddenly sit up while he was still sleeping. Mommy got to watch out before Kang Jung fell off the bed or knock into something.
Changing Kang Jung's diaper become a challenging job too. Kang Jung will not want to lie still at all. He will want to crawl away, stand up, cry and kick up a fuss.
Bathing Kang Jung was a challenge too. He wants to stand up in his tub and Mommy cannot carry Kang Jung out of the tub too soon.
By the way, after this picture was taken, Mommy then realise that Kang Jung do have a lot of toys.

Third Tooth Coming Out

Mommy has been suffering from Kang Jung's nonsense these few days and finally can feel the sharp front tooth on his upper left gum.
By the way, Kang Jung hate his playpen very very very much.

Teething Biscuit

Mommy finally give Kang Jung a teething biscuit and let him try feeding himself. At first, Kang Jung look at the biscuit and thought it was a toy. He began to play with it. Daddy put the biscuit into Kang Jung hand and touch his mouth with the biscuit. Daddy and Mommy then tried to show Kang Jung by eating their pizza in front of him and make "Hmmmm" sound. Kang Jung seem to understand and began eating his biscuit.
