Daddy cleaned up Kang Jung's playpen yesterday so that Mommy can leave Kang Jung inside when she run out to do something. Kang Jung has only sleep in his playpen during his 1st month old.
We brought some new toys to be put in the playpen, hoping that Kang Jung will like it inside. Today, before Mommy has to prepare Kang Jung for bathing, Mommy carry Kang Jung and put him inside the playpen. He seem to like it at first. He saw the new toys and he grab it.
Mommy saw that everything seem ok so she ran out to boil the water for bathing. When Mommy was in the kitchen, she heard Kang Jung crying. She ran back to the room and saw Kang Jung standing up at the playpen. When Kang Jung saw Mommy, he let go of his hand, fell on his back and knock on his head. Mommy quickly carry Kang Jung up and Kang Jung cried for 5 second.
After bathing, Mommy has to put Kang Jung back to the playpen while Mommy throw away his bath water. When Mommy heard Kang Jung cry again in the kitchen. When she ran back, Kang Jung was standing up again. This time, Kang Jung will not let go of his hands. Mommy quickly grab the camera, shoot and carry Kang Jung up. Mommy was dancing around the room, "Kang Jung can stand up already! Kang Jung can stand up by himself! Woooohahahaha!"

Sitting Up

Kang Jung can sit up by himself already. He has been doing that for the pass few days. However he cannot control where he wants to sit and what direction he wants to be facing. He is learning to crawl too. In fact he can crawl a bit, slide a bit. He is also learning how to pull himself to a standing position now. Our bed (Kang Jung's big play pen) suddenly become unsafe for him. We got to watch him all the time on the bed.
Mommy decided that we got to take out our white elephant, Kang Jung's play pen, and put it to good use. It will be useful when Mommy got to run out of the room to do something. Hopefully Kang Jung will not cry when he is inside his playpen.

2 wonderful thing happen
Kang Jung has been screaming and breaking everybody eardrum for 3 days. After that, Kang Jung proceed to say the letter "A" for 2 days. Then he started spitting saliva and saying the word "Boooo" for another 2 days. Guess what he do today.
He goes "Baaaa...Ba...Ba...". When Mommy heard that, Mommy woke Daddy up and tell him that Kang Jung was calling Daddy. Daddy went to Kang Jung's room blur blur expecting Kang Jung to say "Daddy". After hearing a few "Baaa...Baaaa...Baaaa", Daddy told Mommy that he did not mean "Papa". Later in the day, at Popo's house, Mommy was changing Kang Jung's diapers on the floor. While Kang Jung was still a lying position, Mommy was sitting on the floor, Mommy turn to her side to pack some diapers into a box. When Mommy turn back to where Kang Jung was, Kang Jung was already in a sitting position. Mommy was so happy that she scream when she saw Kang Jung sitting up on his own without Mommy's help. Now Mommy is waiting for Kang Jung to do that for the second time.

Kang Jung has not learn to sit up by himself, stand up by himself or crawl yet. Instead he learned to put his feet on top of the high chair and the pram. He also learned how to scream on top of his voice breaking everybody eardrums and made the sound "boooo" spitting his saliva all over the place. Mommy was getting a headache.

Hair Cut

Mommy gave Kang Jung a new hair cut. This was Mommy second attempt at cutting Kang Jung's hair. Mommy need to spilt the hair cutting session into two a month ago because Kang Jung was crying. Kang Jung did not cry this time, he just stare at the comb and the scissors, then he continue to watch his Elmo VCD. It was not a perfect art piece but Kang Jung did not cry and Mommy was happy.

Ikea Tampines

Mommy and Kang Jung went to Ikea Tampines today. Since we went there in the afternoon, the crowd was not so bad. In fact we can shop quite comfortably. Mommy just realise that Ikea Tampines is only 3 bus stop from where we are staying.
Mommy brought a long snake for Kang Jung. Kang Jung tried to "eat snake" after the picture was taken.

Beaches

We went to Pasir Ris Park, Changi Beach Park & Marina Parade on Sunday.
Kang Jung love to watch Elmo on the TV. However, he has not much expression on his face when Mommy show him a toy Elmo. Kang Jung will only smile when Mommy show him the toy Elmo and sing Elmo song to him at the same time.
Kang Jung will watch the channel Animal Planet too. Maybe Mommy has been watching lots of Animal Planet while being pregnant with Kang Jung. Kang Jung will keep quiet in his carseat while watching animals chasing each other for food until he was tired and fall asleep.
A few days ago, Animal Planet was showing a program on monkeys. Throughout the whole show, Kang Jung was giggling while the monkeys on the show jump from tree to tree. Mommy and Popo was watching Kang Jung and giggling at the same time.
